We are looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to support our onsite clinic at PG&E Diablo Canyon Power Plant. Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm. The PG&E Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide employees with occupational and environmental health services, as needed and as their scope of clinical licensure allows. The NP is a delegated authority, as assigned by the WorkCare Consulting Medical Director (CMD), for the necessary implementation of PG&E EH&S policies and those of the onsite clinic, as interpreted by the CMD. This position is a journey level scheduler position responsible for scheduling work at Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP). Perform a variety of complex digital I&C design engineering activities Prepare Engineering Change Packages (ECP) to replace/upgrade obsolete analog-based I&C systems with modern computer-based I&C systems and components Perform engineering calculations and prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates Perform review of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) digital platform hardware and software technical documentation for specified applications Provide estimates to Project Management to support budget and schedule development Participate in project meetings, working interactively with colleagues and clients to develop strong relationships Plan and implement the timely execution of assigned engineering activities Proficiency in the application and use of the regulatory requirements, industry codes, and standards that are unique to digital I&C systems Perform site walkdowns as needed to identify design solutions Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Minimum of 3 years of I&C engineering experience Experience supporting modifications of Nuclear Power Plants preferred Knowledge of digital hardware and software components commonly used in digital I&C system platforms Experience in the design, installation, and testing of large scale (complete systems) digital control and computer monitoring system upgrades at power plants Types of upgrades include replacement of Turbine/Generator Control Systems with DCS platforms, process computer, and cybersecurity systems Direct involvement in the entire digital upgrade life cycle including feasibility studies, procurement specifications, design change packages, FAT/SAT test procedure development, installation, and testing Working knowledge of the application of current regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in a team environment Strong analytical skills and problem identification/resolution Must be able to access/traverse client sites to conduct walkdowns #LI-MB1 Salary Range The salary range for this full-time position is below. Responsibilities: Lead efforts while working with technical staff to develop winning, and highly detailed, engineering proposals Develop Nuclear Services Project Work Plans, Risk Management Plans, Communication Plans, Work Breakdown Structures and Dictionaries Enforce internal and external work standards, schedules, supervising sub-contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates Responsible for development of project schedule, execution of schedule, reporting on schedule, preparing recovery schedules and rebaselining schedules Responsible to manage matrixed technical staff to ensure client deliverables meet quality standards, schedules, technical requirements Understand complex scheduling tools including earned value management and reporting processes Formulate / develop detailed internal and Federal reporting requirements Understand project financials and be able to report regularly to management on financial status and overall project performance Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients, act as a single point of contact for assigned projects Manage client interactions and negotiate / control project scope to client and the company's satisfaction Support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation and follow-up Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years' experience in power generation or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes Strong coordination and team building skills Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks.
